No. 4 Burbank coasts to another easy Metro Conference win

Isaiah Williams rushed for 87 yards and three touchdowns on six carries; Calvin Green caught touchdown passes of 15 yards from Ernest Jenkins and 62 yards from Carlton Reid Hollowell; Benjamin Jones returned a kickoff 63 yards for a touchdown and Jarad Hill a punt 49 yards for a score as No. 4 Burbank defeated Valley 69-0 in a Metro Conference game tonight at Burbank.

Burbank had 460 total yards and nine ballcarriers combined for 329 rushing yards while the Titans (7-0, 4-0) had six sacks, a fumble recovery and held Valley (1-6, 1-3) to minus 41 total yards.

Reid Hollowell, the Titans' back-up quarterback, completed all three of his pass attempts for 99 yards. Burbank also had three touchdowns called back on penalties in a game that went to a running clock in the fourth quarter.

The game was moved up to a 5:15 p.m. start because of concerns about a shooting near the campus during a recnet game.
