Week 9 stars: Bonovich, Hall help 8-1 Dixon beat Marysville

Here are 20 more area standout football performers from Week 9.

• John Abalos, Highlands: Rushed for 288 yards and two touchdowns on 20 carries and also passed for 107 yards and two touchdowns in the Scots' 43-6 win over Vacaville Christian.

• Nick Bonovich, Dixon: Rushed for 185 yards on 15 carries and had eight tackles in the Rams' 49-21 win over Marysville.

• Isaac Brahce, Placer: Rushed for 180 yards and a touchdown on 14 carries and had an interception in the No. 6 Hillmen's 24-7 win over Colfax.

• Marcel Brown, Rio Linda: Rushed for 164 yards and two touchdowns on 18 carries in the Knights' 55-28 win over Oakmont.

• Trevon Connerly-Smith, Florin: Rushed for 168 yards and two touchdowns on nine carries in the Panthers' 49-27 loss to Rosemont.

• Ian Davis, Nevada Union: Had 10 catches for 131 yards and a touchdown in the No. 15 Miners' 45-35 loss to No. 13 Del Oro.

• Korey Hall, Dixon: Rushed for 127 yards and three touchdowns on 16 carries in the Rams' 49-21 win over Marysville.

• Quinton Kirk, Capital Christian: Rushed for 172 yards and four touchdowns on six carries in the Cougars' 56-0 win over West Campus.

• Daniel Kniffin, Rocklin: Had seven catches for 118 yards and two touchdowns in the No. 10 Thunder's 49-19 win over Roseville.

• Taylor Laird, Oakmont: Completed 19 of 35 passes for 341 yards and four touchdowns in the Vikings' 55-28 loss to No. 19 Rio Linda.

• Louis Macklin, Sacramento: Had five catches for 114 yards and two touchdowns in the Dragons' 53-0 win over Kennedy.

• Tyler Masterson, Rosemont: Completed 12 of 18 passes for 188 yards and five touchdowns in the Wolverines' 49-27 win over Florin.

• Matt O'Brien, Foresthill: Caught four passes for 130 yards and two touchdowns in the Wildfires' 56-14 win over Delta.

• Isiah Rios, Grant, Completed 11 of 20 passes for 184 yards and three touchdowns in the Pacers' 46-14 win over Davis.

• Jason Samuels, Oak Ridge: Passed for 225 yards and a touchdown in the No. 7 Trojans' 38-19 win over No. 9 Pleasant Grove.

• Corey Santos, Rosemont: Had two sacks, a blocked punt and 12 tackles in the Wolverines' 49-27 win over Florin.

• Adam Sewell, Golden Sierra: Had two sacks, two fumble recoveries and eight tackles in the Grizzlies' 35-14 win over Encina.

• Sedrick Thomas, Pleasant Grove: Had six kickoff returns for 182 yards, including a 93-yarder to open the game, in the No. 9 Eagles' 38-19 loss to No. 7 Oak Ridge.

• Josh Truesdell, Woodland Christian: Completed 7 of 11 passes for 209 yards and three touchdowns and had eight tackles in the Cardinals' 29-14 win over Cristo Rey.

• Tyler Winston, Antelope: Had seven catches for 70 yards and three touchdowns and also had 100 yards total in punt returns in the No. 20 Titans' 46-14 win over Rio Americano.
