With that, here's a glance at some of the top movers and shakers in the playoffs:

Keys Tigers wing-T run game in D-III playoffs and primary run stopper; has caught TDs, too.
* Bwon Canada, Elk Grove, DE, 6-1, 178, Jr.
"Squdward" leads the Herd in forced fumbles;"nonstop motor" allowed him to score 2 TDs on D.
* Devar Card, Del Campo, DT, 6-0, 260, Sr.
"Earthquake" has emerged as dominant run stopper for surging Cougars in D-II.
* Zach Claiborne, Oak Ridge, DE, 6-1, 195, Sr.
2nd in state with 20.5 sacks is relentless; all-time school sack man plays in honor of his ill grandfather.
* Daren Echeveria, Antelope, OL/DL, 6-4, 260
Two way leader for 10-1 Titans says he's only nice outside of shoulder pads; bruiser otherwise.
* Chris Grunsky, Vista del Lago, DE, 6-2, 185, Sr.
"Bear" makes tackles, sacks, blocks punts for scores for surging D-IV Eagles.
* Beau Hershberger, Granite Bay, DE, 6-2, 230
Defensive leader also plays LB; can gloat that he can outlift fit father in the weigtht room.

Scholar with charm is a recruit prospect; joins Kameron Schroeder for formidable fronts.
* Ngalu Tapa, Burbank, DT, 6-3, 270, Jr.
Rising recruit leads the state with 22 sacks; draws double/triple teams.
* Nick Terry, Pleasant Grove, DL, 6-4, 270, Sr.
Has multiple offers; aims to have a statement game vs. Burbank
* Eddie Vanderdoes, Placer, DT, 6-4, 303, Sr.
Area's No. 1 recruit created own burger aptly named "The Big Eddie." Teams with another recruit in Sacramento State-commit Stone Sander at DE.

"Big Lovely" is superb pass protector & insists he's a top rap artist/dancer, too.
