Malik Pope scored 35 points to lead Laguna Creek to an 80-66 win over St. Mary's of Stockton in a nonleague game tonight in Elk Grove.
It was the Burbank transfer's second 30-points-plus performance. The 6-foot-8 junior wing had 33 points, 12 rebounds and four assists in a 76-59 win over Woodcreek on Friday.
The two performances come after Pope, considered the top junior prospect in Northern California, was held to nine points in a 62-55 loss to Del Oro in the season opener six days ago
