Boys Top 20: Bealer's 22 leads No. 6 Titans past No. 9 Del Oro

Gabe Bealer scored 22 points and Isaiah Ellis had five points, 12 rebounds and three blocks in leading No. 6 Antelope to a 60-44 win over No. 9 Del Oro in tonight's championship game of the Titan Holiday Classic boys basketball tournament at Antelope High School.

Isiah Quintero added 10 points, Rashard Thornhill nine points and sophomore Mister Harriel seven points for Antelope, which won its own tournament for the third straight year.

Ellis was named tourney MVP and Bealer and Harriel made all-tournament. Trevor Pistochini and Finney Keenan, who each had a team-high 10 points, made all-tournament for Del Oro.

In the third-place game, freshman Cole Taira had a game-high 19 points, including the game winner at the buzzer in overtime, to lead Kennedy past No. 5 Burbank 61-59.

Cole Uda and Matt Nakatomi each had 13 points and all-tourney selection To'A Kolokihakaufisi added 11 for the Cougars.

In other results reported to us involving Top 20 boys teams:

• UC Iroegbu had 17 points and D.J. Wilson, Trey Belton and Tyler Schimpf each added eight points as No. 3 Capital Christian (9-0) beat Merced 65-28 in the championship game of the Run with the Pack tournament at Cosumnes Oaks High School. No. 10 Granite Bay defeated McKinleyville 84-44 for third place.

• Marvin Timothy and Benson Osayande combined for 33 points to lead No. 11 Franklin over Helix 61-43 in the Red Bluff tournament.

• Sophomores Dante Henley and Isaiah Bailey combined for 21 points to lead No. 13 Jesuit to a 55-43 win over Bellarmine of Tacoma, Wash., in the seventh place game of the Father Barry Christmas Classic at Jesuit. Modesto Christian beat Campolindo of Moraga 68-58 in the championship game and St. Joseph Notre Dame of Alameda downed Damien of LaVerne 60-58 for third place.

• Senior Zach Wolking had 19 points and freshman Jordan Ford 18 to lead No. 18 Folsom to a 64-47 win over Oakmont in the Rocklin Holiday tournament.

• Grant Dean had 22 points to lead No. 19 Oak Ridge over Cosumnes Oaks in the Running with the Pack tournament at Cosumnes Oaks.
