No. 2 Oak Ridge, No. 3 Kennedy and No. 4 Christian Brothers all won in tonight's opening round of the Trojan Toss-Up girls basketball tournament at Oak Ridge High School.
Shelby Peters' 14 points helped lead Oak Ridge to a 57-33 win over Will C. Wood; Jessica Lauderdale had 19 points and Lynette Johnson 18 in Kennedy's 69-33 triumph over Vista del Lago; and Alicia Gonzalez had 19 points and Ann Burch 13 in Christian Brothers' 64-54 win over Clovis.
In Friday's match-ups, Vista del Lago plays Clovis at 3:30 p.m.; Inderkum faces Will C. Wood at 5 p.m.; Oak Ridge plays River City at 6:30 p.m.; and Kennedy faces Christian Brothers at 8 p.m.
