Boys basketball Top 20: Saraba has 37 points for Del Campo

Vasilija Saraba scored 37 points, including 25 in the first half, to lead No. 9 Del Campo (16-5, 3-1) to a 66-54 Capital Valley Conference boys basketball win over Oakmont tonight in Roseville.

Namani Parker led the Vikings (6-13, 0-4) with 18 points.

NO. 4 ANTELOPE 61, NO. 13 CORDOVA 37 - Rashard Thornhill had 15 points and Iasiah Ellis added 11 as the Titans (15-6, 4-0) defeated the Lancers (13-7, 3-1) in a Capital Athletic League game in Antelope.

NO. 6 BELLA VISTA 56, NO. 12 CASA ROBLE 43 - Tyler Berkness had 14 points and Ahmad Smith 13 to lead the Broncos (16-5, 4-0) over the Rams (16-5, 3-1) in a CVC game in Orangevale. Eric Stuteville led Casa Roble with 23 points.

NO. 11 COLFAX 47, BEAR RIVER 34 - Will Buell's 18 points helped lift the Falcons (17-4, 3-1) over the Bruins (13-7, 0-4) in the Pioneer Valley League game in Lake of the Pines.

NO. 19 PLACER 66, NO. 14 LINCOLN 43 - Isaiah Pineiro had 26 points and Peter Kean 17 as the Hillmen (16-5, 3-1) upended the Fighting Zebras (16-5, 3-1) and snapped their 13 game winning streak in the Pioneer Valley League game in Lincoln.

FRANKLIN 75, NO. 16 DAVIS 67 - Benson Osayande had 22 points and Vic Rustin 18 as the Wildcats (11-11, 4-1) bottled up the prolific "The System" of the Blue Devils (13-8, 3-2) in the Delta Valley Conference game in Davis. Kevin Sorensen led Davis with 22 points.

NO. 17 GRANT 48, ELK GROVE 31 - Malik Mitschem's 14 points helped the Pacers (15-7, 3-2) to defeat the Thundering Herd (12-10, 2-3) in the DVC game in Elk Grove.
