Unranked Roseville outscored No. 7 Granite Bay 15-7 in overtime to post a 99-91 Sierra Foothill League boys basketball win and hand the Grizzlies their first league defeat tonight in Roseville.
Matt Twalks had 22 points, Roman Tyukayev 19 and David Rios 18 to lead Roseville (18-5, 3-3). Aidan Naughton had 25 points and Scott Romuk 23 for Granite Bay (16-7, 5-1).
It wasn't the only upset in the SFL tonight.
Del Oro, which had fallen out of The Bee's Top 20, defeated No. 8 Rocklin 68-61 in Rocklin. Danny Becker had 26 points and Trevor Pistochini 17 to lead Del Oro (15-8, 3-3). Taylor Cherry topped Rocklin (15-8, 3-3) with 10 points.

NO. 1 SHELDON 77, FOLSOM 59 - Leading just 30-27 at halftime, the Huskies (17-4, 6-0) rolled past the visiting Bulldogs (11-12, 2-4) in the second half to remain alone atop the Delta River League. Darin Johnson had 16 points and three assists; D'Erryl Williams 14 points, 13 rebounds, six assists and three steals; Dakarai Allen 15 points, seven rebounds, six assists and four steals; and Antonio Lewis 13 points and six rebounds. NorCal No. 2 Sheldon plays at Jesuit on Friday and then plays NorCal No. 1 Salesian of Richmond in the Bay Area on Saturday night.

NO. 2 PLEASANT GROVE 42, NO. 19 OAK RIDGE 37 - Matthew Hayes had 16 points and Malik Thames added 12 as the Eagles (18-4, 5-1) defeated the Trojans in a DRL game in El Dorado Hills. Jordan Simms had 10 points for Oak Ridge (13-10, 3-3), which trailed 16-8 after one quarter and 22-15 at halftime

NO. 3 CAPITAL CHRISTIAN 66, MARYSVILLE 32 - The Cougars (20-2, 7-0) outscored the Indians (5-19, 0-7) 15-0 in the first quarter en route to the easy Golden Empire League win in Marysville. Tyler Jennings had 16 points and D.J. Wilson added 10 for the Cougars.
NO. 4 SACRAMENTO 73, HIRAM JOHNSON 33 - Aaron Cameron had 15 points and five rebounds and Simi Shelton 10 points, six rebounds and three assists as the Dragons (17-6, 9-1) defeated the Warriors (11-12, 5-5) in a Metro Conference game at Hiram Johnson.
NO. 6 BELLA VISTA 69, No. 12 DEL CAMPO 52 - The Broncos (18-5, 6-0) jumped to a 37-17 lead in beating the rival Cougars (16-7, 3-3) in a Capital Valley Conference game at Del Campo. Tyler Berkness had 17 points and Dominic Driggs and Ahmad Smith 15 each for the Broncos. Vasilije Saraba and Semir Cahtarevic combined for 27 points for Del Campo.
NO. 9 KENNEDY 60, VALLEY 48 - Cole Taira, Joey Healow and To'A Kolokihakaufisi each had 12 points in leading the Cougars (15-7, 10-0) over the Vikings (12-11, 5-5) in the Metro game in Greenhaven. Elijah Galloway had 20 points for Valley.
NO. 10 BURBANK 92, FLORIN 65 - David Straughter had 22 points and Jalen Coates 21 as the Titans (15-8, 7-3) cruised past the Panthers (2-21, 1-9) in the Metro Conference game at Burbank. Ben Walls topped Florin with 24 points.
NO. 11 CASA ROBLE 49, RIO LINDA 31 - Jess Baucum had 16 points, Eric Stuteville 15 and Mason Stuteville 14 as the Rams (18-5, 5-1) defeated the Knights (6-14, 0-6) in a CVC game in Rio Linda.
CENTER 51, NO. 13 PLACER 46 - The Cougars (6-16, 1-5) jumped to a 28-18 halftime lead then held off the Hillmen (17-6, 4-2) to record the Pioneer Valley League upset in Antelope. Austin Hampton led the Cougars with 16 points. Michael McNamara topped Placer with 14. The campus was on lockdown throughout the game due to an armed suspect in the area, according to the Twin Rivers school district police.

No. 14 LINCOLN 57, BEAR RIVER 49 - Marcus Salgado and John Reyes each had 15 points to lead the Fighting Zebras (18-5, 5-1) over the Bruins (14-8, 5-1) in Lake of the Pines. Nick Bachus had 19 points for Bear River.
NO. 15 COLFAX 64, FOOTHILL 55 - Will Buell's 26 points helped the Falcons (18-5, 4-2) to defeat the Mustangs (10-13, 3-3) in a PVL game in Colfax. Anthony Williams had 27 points for Foothill.
NO. 16 LAGUNA CREEK 54, ELK GROVE 35 - Malik Pope tallied 20 points and the Cardinals (14-10, 5-2) outscored the Thundering Herd (12-12, 2-5) 14-3 in the first quarter en route to the Delta Valley Conference win at Laguna Creek.
NO. 18 GRANT 90, N0. 17 DAVIS 80 - Brandon Nunn had 34 points and De'Sean Parsons 23 as the Pacers (17-7, 5-2) downed the Blue Devils (14-9, 4-3) in a DVC game in Del Paso Heights. Brandon Strong led Davis with 18 points.
