Boys Top 20: Oakmont upsets Granite Bay; Sac drills Burbank

Oakmont, which started the season 3-9, got a huge win tonight in upsetting No. 7 Granite Bay 74-69 in overtime in a nonleague boys basketball game in Roseville.

Dominic Marrero had 24 points and Shayne Baynes 15 to lead the Vikings (4-6) past the Grizzlies (11-6).

In other games reported to The Bee involving Top 20 teams:

NO. 2 SACRAMENTO 92, NO. 12 BURBANK 68 - The Dragons (10-4, 2-0) jumped out to a 21-7 first-quarter lead and never looked back in beating the Titans (9-6, 1-1) in Oak Park. Aaron Cameron led Sacramento with 21 points and fellow seniors Joseph Barnes and James Hadnot combined for 27 points. Freshman Devin Young had 18.

No. 4 CAPITAL CHRISTIAN 61, LINDHURST 46 - Trey Belton had 17 points and Nifae Lealao added 14 as the Cougars (12-2) beat the Blazers (9-9) in the Golden Empire League opener.
