Christian Brothers' Mallory Velte won her second consecutive CIF Girls Wrestling State Invitational Championship on Saturday night in Lemoore.
Velte, a senior from Cameron Park, defeated Steele Canyon of Spring Valley's Marki Simmons 10-2 for the 132-pound championship.
Earlier, Velte won by fall over Alejandra Voight of Beaumont and by decision over Solin Piearcy of Cupertino 5-4 and Elaine Price of Loara of Anaheim 11-0.
Velte was one of four wrestlers to claim a second state title in the third annual event.
Lindhurst's Teasia Lizama lost 9-3 to Albany's Chanel Chawalit in the 126-pound final.
Six other area wrestlers finished among the top eight in their respective weight classes.
They are: Woodcreek's Lauren Mason, fourth, 103; Whitney's Madison Fitzgerald, fourth, 122; Rocklin's Olivia Seppinni, sixth, 126; Rosemont's Monica Durazo, sixth, 130; Woodcreek's Marissa Thomas, seventh, 108; and River City's Serena Castro, eighth, 154.
