D-I girls highlights: No. 2 Oak Ridge cruises past Bella Vista

Ali Bettencourt's 22 points led 13 players in the scoring column as No. 2 Oak Ridge defeated No. 15 Bella Vista 68-29 in a Sac-Joaquin Section Division I girls basketball opener tonight in El Dorado Hills.

NO. 3 KENNEDY 51, NO. 14 ENOCHS 33 - Dalayna Tyler-Scott had 15 points and Lynette Johnson 11 to lead the Cougars over the Modesto visitors.

NO. 7 MONTEREY TRAIL 58, NO. 10 LINCOLN-STOCKTON 55 - Jasmine Redmon had 20 points and Tiara Webb 15 to lead the Mustangs over the Trojans in Elk Grove.

NO. 8 PLEASANT GROVE 61, NO 9 McCLATCHY 58 - Avonna Lee had 17 points and Dejza James 13 as the Eagles rallied late to beat the Lions in Elk Grove. Freshman Gigi Garcia had 17 points and Aleea Reese 15 for McClatchy.
