Oak Ridge to hold alumni baseball game, fund-raiser March 2

Oak Ridge High will hold its first annual alumni baseball game 10 a.m. on March 2 at the school's varsity diamond.

All former players are invited to participate. Doug Paul, Oak Ridge's first baseball coach, will serve as an umpire.

The game will be followed by a barbecue hosted by the 2013 Oak Ridge baseball team.

There is no cost to participate but alumni are asked to register with the Oak Ridge Alumni Baseball Planning Committee @baseballalumni10@gmail.com.

A fund-raising dinner also will be held in conjunction with the event at 6 p.m. on March 2.
