The Sac-Joaquin Section released its second and final (for public view) boys basketball power ratings this morning.
Sixteen teams qualify in Divisions I through IV; 12 in D-V and eight in D-VI.
Under a new section rule, if a team wins at least 15 games and does not qualify for the tournament by the power rating system, that team will be added to the tournament.
The section will release the playoff brackets on Feb. 13.
Here's a brief look at each division:
DIVISION I - 1. Sheldon, 2. Bella Vista, 3. Pleasant Grove; 4. Golden Valley-Merced. Outside looking in: Woodcreek, No. 20; Jesuit, No. 23.
DIVISION II - 1. St. Mary's-Stockton; 2. Antelope; 3. Sacramento; 4. Grant. Outside looking in: Hiram Johnson, No. 21; Elk Grove, No. 22; El Camino, No. 23.
DIVISION III - 1. Sierra-Manteca; 2. Casa Roble; 3. Weston Ranch-Stockton; 4. Lincoln. Bubble team: Christian Brothers, No. 16; Outside looking in: Valley, No. 17; Woodland, No. 19; El Dorado, No. 20; Vista del Lago, No. 21; Lindhurst, No. 22.
DIVISION IV - 1. Colfax; 2. Summerville; 3. Riverbank; 4. Liberty Ranch. Outside looking in - Bear River (has 14 wins), No. 17; Dixon, No. 19; Highlands, No. 22.
DIVISION V - 1. Capital Christian, 2. Central Catholic-Modesto; 3. Ripon Christian; 4. Brookside Christian-Stockton. Bubble team: Delta Charter, No. 12. Outside looking in: Sacramento Waldorf, No. 14; Valley Christian-Roseville, No. 15.
DIVISION VI - 1. Faith Christian-Yuba City; 2. New Life Christian-Olivehurst. Outside looking in: Victory Christian, No. 9.
