Roseville tops No. 1 Woodcreek to close to one in SFL

Mackenzie Priley had a home run and two RBIs, Naomi Monahan two RBIs and Stephanie Johnson, Kayla Fields, Justine Garner and Alyson Manzo each drove in runs as No. 3 Roseville defeated top-ranked Woodcreek 9-8 in a Sierra Foothill League girls softball game today at Roseville High School.

The win moved Roseville (17-6-1, 9-3) to within a game of Woodcreek (16-7, 10-2) in the Sierra Foothill League.

For Woodcreek, Nicole Miller had a home run, two singles and three RBIs; Frankie Orlando two doubles and two RBIs; and Christal Vierra three hits and an RBI.
The two teams combined for 23 hits and eight errors
Woodcreek will play host to No. 4 Rocklin on Tuesday before Roseville visits Rocklin on Wednesday.
