Antelope big man Isaiah Ellis signs with Chico State

Antelope senior center Isaiah Ellis, this season's Capital Athletic League boys MVP, has signed a letter of intent with Chico State.

The 6-foot-7 Ellis was a key three-year player and defensive force for the Titans, helping them to win back-to-back Sac-Joaquin Section Division II titles as well as a D-II runners-up finish his sophomore season.

A Bee All-Metro second team selection, Ellis averaged 12.9 points, 8.4 rebounds and 2.4 blocks before breaking his foot in the Titans' 70-63 D-II title win over Grant.

Isaiah's twin, Tyler, signed last month with the New Mexico State women's basketball team.
