Capital Christian forward D.J. Wilson makes verbal commitment to Michigan

Capital Christian senior forward D.J. Wilson has given a verbal commitment to play basketball next season at Michigan, reports Cougars coach Devon Jones.

The 6-foot-9 forward has helped Capital Christian win the last two Sac-Joaquin Section Division V championships. Last season, he averaged 9.7 points and 4.6 rebounds for the 26-5 Cougars.

Because of a back injury, Wilson missed the team's final four playoff games, including a 50-36 loss to St. Joseph's Notre Dame of Alameda in the CIF D-V Northern California Regional finals.
