High school football championship highlights, Pete Saco and the Granite Bay girls volleyball team are among the topics on the SureWest Sports Show that airs tonight at 7:30 p.m. on Comcast SportsNet California.
Football NorCal Regional games between Del Oro and Serra of San Mateo and the Folsom-De La Salle Open game were a launching pad to this weekend's CIF State Bowl games in Carson.
Saco, the longtime Sac-Joaquin Section commissioner, is the spotlight interview as he talks about the rise of prep sports and ideas for even more playoff expansion.
And host Mike Finnerty talks to members of the 45-0 Granite Bay volleyball team that set a state record for single-season success in storming to a title.
The shows re-air on Tuesday and Wednesday. Check your local listings.

The contract with SureWest Sports, the title brand since 2009, expires Dec. 31.
