Two Minutes with Clare Sorensen, Christian Brothers golf

Best athletic moment: This summer when I won the (Northern California Golf Association) Junior Amateur Championship at Spyglass. They were the first two rounds I played there.

Funniest athletic moment: I had a college coach watching me this summer and I almost hit him with a bad shot. He thought he was out of the way.

I'd never eat: Oysters.

If there were a movie about me, I would want to be played by: Emma Watson.

Two Minutes with Jillian Brown, McClatchy cross country

Best athletic moment: When I won the Laguna Valley frosh-soph cross country race last fall.

Funniest athletic moment: My freshman year in track, there was a guy running the mile or two-mile, and he lost his shoe and almost tripped three times in the last 50 yards.

Favorite food: Pasta.

Last movie: "Crazy, Stupid, Love".

I'd never eat: A bug.

Dream college: Santa Clara.

Role model: Olympic short-track speed skater J.R. Celski.

Ideal vacation spot: South America.

If there was a movie about me, I would want to be played by: Shay Mitchell.

I wish I had more time: To improve in cross country.

TV show I never miss: "Pretty Little Liars".

Losing is: Something to learn from.

Favorite athlete: Oregon distance runner Jordan Hasay.

When it comes to driving: I'm pretty polite.

My ultimate goal right now is: To make it to the state cross country meet this season.

Dream job: Movie screenwriter.

Role models: My parents.

Most proud of: Being a three-year varsity water polo player.

Sport I'd like to try: Lacrosse.

Being in high school is: Like being in the circus.

Best gift I ever received: My letterman's jacket.

In one word, I'm: Enthusiastic.

People may not know I can: Write stories.

A skill I wish I had: To make a backhand shot in water polo.

My late-night talk show would be called: Megan's Mega-Magical Talk Show.

I always thought it would be cool to: Drive with my eyes closed.

I would love to meet: Peyton Manning.

If I could have a superpower, it would be: Super speed.

Soccer is: A passion for me.

Best athletic moment: Coming in first in my first varsity cross country race this season as a sophomore.

Favorite food: Spaghetti.

If I had $1 million, I'd: Go shopping.

Most proud of: Being a varsity runner for cross country this season.

If I could have one superpower, it would be: Speed.

Sport I'd like to try: Lacrosse.

Being in high school is: Crazy.

Competition is: Serious.

TV show I can't miss: "Grey's Anatomy."

Best gift I've ever received: My first phone.

In one word, I'm: Interesting.

Running is: Probably the best thing that's happened to me.

I always thought it would be cool to: Travel the world.

I would love to meet: Taylor Swift.

Take everything, just leave me: My phone.

A skill I wish I had: To be able to sprint faster.

My best advice is to: Never give up on anything. Keep on trying.

"If I had $1 million, I'd": Save for college, donate to charity and help out my friends and family. Last movie: "Salt."

Favorite food: Spaghetti.

Dream college: Miami.

Sport I'd like to try: Gymnastics.

If I could have one superpower, it would be: To jump as high as possible.

TV show I can't miss: "Desperate Housewives."

I love to compete because: I can show people that I'm better than they think I am.

People may not know that I can't: Touch my toes.

A skill I wish I had: To sing well.

I would love to meet: Misty May Treanor and Kerri Walsh.

My best advice is to: Always go for things because you never know what you can do unless you try.
