VERY impressive opening drive by Raiders, 81 yards, 9 plays - including TWO DHB catches for 29 yards - in 5:32, culminating with Michael Bush 2-yard TD. Other big play was a 44-yard pass to fullback Marcel Reese.

Niners answer by driving to Raiders' 19-yard line, keyed by 49-yard run by Frank Gore, who bounced off both Michael Huff and Stanford Routt. But Gore lost three yards on a fumble, a penalty ensued and then Joe Nedney shanked a 37-yard FGA wide right.

Raiders go three and out on Darren McFadden's 2010 debut - he runs between the tackles for a two-yard gain and then is stopped by Patrick Willis for a one-yard loss. Brandon Myers drops Campbell's perfectly-placed ball for what would have been a first down on 3rd and 9.

Appears as though rookie center Jared Veldheer's inexperience is affecting McFadden's ability to run between the tackles as Patrick Willis is running untouched in Oakland's backfield. But McFadden has shown the ability to create when passed the ball in space - his big pickup negated by a penalty on Louis Murphy before going for 15 yards on 3rd and 19 on a similar pass.
