Although Charles and Ray Eames are best known for their distinctive Mid-Century furniture designs, the couple also made important contributions to art, architecture, photography and film.
A new documentary on their extraordinary careers will be shown at the Crest Theater as a benefit for The California Museum which will use the proceeds to create an exhibit this fall to commemorate the 100th birthday of artist and Sacramento native Ray Eames.
Following the screening there will be a special presentation by director Jason Cohn and Llisa Demetrios of the Eames Foundation. Cohn will be interviewed about the film during Monday's Insight radio program on KXJZ.
