Kings add Todd to coaching staff

The Kings announced the addition of Jim Todd to coach Paul Westphal's staff.

Todd joins Jim Eyen, Keith Smart and Bobby Jackson on staff.

Todd last coached in the NBA in Atlanta from 2008-10. Todd coached in China last season and was as an assistant coach for the Canadian National Men's Basketball team at the 2010 FIBA World Championship Games in Turkey.

Todd has been an assistant with Milwaukee three times and also was an assistant with the Los Angeles Clippers, serving as interim head coach in 2000.

Todd's greatest success as a head coach came at Salem State from 1987-96. Todd led the school to a 192-57 (.771) record. Todd's teams were 110-10 (.917) record in conference play.

Salem State played in Division III NCAA tournament eight times under Todd. He was named NCAA New England Coach of the Year in 1990.

Todd was Salem State's golf coach, leading them to three NCAA appearances.
