Forward Travis Outlaw, who was acquired by the Kings on Saturday and practiced with the team for the first time on Monday, will play about 15 to 20 minutes in tonight's preseason game against the Golden State Warriors, head coach Paul Westphal said.
"When he's out there, we'll probably go darn near microscopic," Westphal said. That will mean playing guards Isaiah Thomas and Jimmer Fredette along with Outlaw at the big forward spot, Jason Thompson, and either Marcus Thornton or Tyreke Evans.
"At least we plan on it for a while," Westphal said. "Spread the floor and see if we can drop a couple threes on them."
The game is scheduled to tip off at 7 p.m. at Power Balance Pavilion.
