SAN ANTONIO - The Kings handed the Spurs their first home loss of the season by rallying in the final two minutes with four points from John Salmons and the game-winner by Tyreke Evans with 47.6 seconds to play.

Evans led the Kings (6-10) with 23 points, 11 rebounds and seven assists. DeMarcus Cousins had 17 points and 13 rebounds.

Tony Parker led the Spurs (10-6) with 24 points.


THIRD QUARTER
Kings 73, Spurs 67

SAN ANTONIO - The Kings are still ahead in what would be their most impressive win if they hold on to their lead.

Tyreke Evans has 19 points to lead the Kings, who have answered every Spurs run tonight.

DeMarcus Cousins had to go to the locker room to be evaluated after being hit in the head, but returned to the bench.

Tony Parker has 19 points to lead the Spurs. Tim Duncan has 10 points and nine rebounds.


HALFTIME
Kings 50, Spurs 47

SAN ANTONIO - The Kings shot more like themselves in the second quarter (35 percent) and the Spurs took advantage to cut the Kings' 15-point lead to as few as one in the second quarter.

The Kings led 40-25 after a three pointer from Jimmer Fredette with 9:52 left in the second. The Spurs responded with a 20-6 run to make the score 46-45, but could not take the lead.

The Kings are shooting 42.6 percent for the game, still above their season average entering the game.

Tyreke Evans and Marcus Thornton each have 11 points for the Kings. Evans also has five assists.

Tony Parker leads the Spurs with 10 points and five assists.

FIRST QUARTER
Kings 32, Spurs 20

SAN ANTONIO - The Kings have shot well (48.1 percent) and jumped on the Spurs, who are undefeated at home this season.

Marcus Thornton already has 11 points as the Kings are playing more at the fast pace coach Keith Smart wants to see.

The Kings have nine points off turnovers while the Spurs are struggling on offense (36.8 percent shooting).

Tim Duncan leads the Spurs with six points and two rebounds.
