MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Here are five things to look for when the Kings face the Memphis Girzzlies tonight.
1. Bounce in their step
The Kings looked energetic for the first time since the season opener in beating the New Orleans Hornets Sunday. That will be needed again. The Kings are too young look lethargic, especially this early in the season.
2. Grizzlies from three
The Lakers and Hornets shot a combined 1-of-31 on three pointers against the Kings in losing at Sacramento.
3. DMC's role
The Kings are still at their best with DeMarcus Cousins fully engaged and involved. How long will Cousins sit before Paul Westphal puts him in the game?
4. Perimeter defense
Rudy Gay and O.J. Mayo have given the Kings problems in recent years. The Kings will look to John Salmons and Tyreke Evans to help slow them down.
5. Free throws
The Kings made 18-of-21 free throws Sunday after struggle to make 60 percent of their free throws through four games.
