The Morning After: Going with the plus players

SALT LAKE CITY - Isaiah Thomas did it again.

The Kings rookie came into a game and energized the team. Thomas scored 13 of the Kings' 26 points in the fourth quarter of Saturday night's 96-93 loss to the Utah Jazz.

Thomas accounted for all 13 bench points for the Kings against the Jazz.

Kings coach Keith Smart said Thomas has one of the best plus/minus ratios on the team and the Kings. Smart said the Kings need to play more their plus players like Thomas.

Well which combinations have the best plus/minus this season? You can go click here to see all the plus/minus numbers for every player in the NBA.

Here's a quick look at the Kings in this area:

*The only King with a positive plus/minus is Tyler Honeycutt (plus-10). The catch is Honeycutt has played in only two games for 7 minutes, 46 seconds. Considering how many times the Kings have been blown out it's no surprise they don't have more plus players.

*John Salmons (minus-161) has the worst plust/minus on the Kings. Jimmer Fredette and Tyreke Evans aren't far behind (minus-155).

*Thomas is at minus-81 this season.

This was the scene pregame with Jimmer Fredette. No, this is not the norm when the Kings travel.
