Knicks 100, Kings 85

NEW YORK - The Kings lost their third consecutive game as their mix of poor shooting and bad defense led to another blowout loss.

The Kings (10-19) shot 37.2 percent while the Knicks (15-15) shot 50.6 percent. It was the Knicks seventh win a row.

The Knicks were led by Jeremy Lin with 10 points and a career-high 13 assists.Landry Fields had 15 points, 10 rebounds and five assists.


THIRD QUARTER
Knicks 77, Kings 55

NEW YORK - The Kings haven't even scored 20 points in a quarter yet and are being thoroughly beaten by the streaking Knicks.

The Kings are shooting 32.3 percent and have looked outmatched most of the night.

Tyreke Evans leads the Kings with 14 points.

Jeremy Lin has 10 points and a career-high 13 assists for the Knicks. Landry Fields has 15 points and 10 rebounds.


HALFTIME
Knicks 54, Kings 36

NEW YORK - The Kings still aren't defending well and still are shooting poorly. They've been two constants this season and the Knicks are taking advantage of the Kings' failings in both areas.

The Knicks are shooting 51.3 percent while the Kings are stuck at 32.6 percent. Jeremy Lin has six points and nine assists for the Knicks. Guard Landry Fields has 11 points and seven rebounds. No King has more than four rebounds.

Marcus Thornton leads the Kings with 13 points. The rest of the starters have combined for 12 points.

FIRST QUARTER
Knicks 25, Kings 17

NEW YORK - Jeremy Lin was the best player on the floor to start tonight's game.

Lin has five points, six assists and no turnovers as the Knicks have come out playing well. The Kings are shooting just 30 percent while the Knicks shot 50 percent.

DeMarcus Cousins has six points and two rebounds but also has two fouls. Marcus Thornton has seven points, meaning he and Cousins have 13 of the Kings' 17 points.

Meanwhile all five starters for the Knicks, led by Amar'e Stoudemire with nine points.
