In-game blog: Kings at Heat

FINAL
Heat 120, Kings 108

MIAMI - The Heat used a big fourth quarter to put the game out of reach.

Dwyane Wade led the Heat (26-7) with 30 points and 10 assists. Chris Bosh had 20 points and 10 rebounds. LeBron James had 18 points and eight assits.

Tyreke Evans had 21 points, 10 assists and seven rebounds for the Kings. Isaiah Thomas had 24 points and Marcus Thornton had 23 points.

The Kings (10-22) have lost six games in a row and end their six-game road trip tomorrow at Washington.

The Heat have won seven in a row.

THIRD QUARTER
Heat 93, Kings 88

MIAMI - Isaiah Thomas wowed the crowd in the third quarter, making five three pointers and scoring 20 points to keep the Kings from being blown out after they fell behind by 12.

Thomas has 24 points, establishing a new career high. Thomas had 23 points Sunday at Cleveland. The Kings did not have a turnover in the third, but ahven't slowed down Miami's offense.

The Heart are shooting 58.1 percent and four of their five starters have at least 14 points. Dwyane Wade leads Miami with 24 points.

The Kings have used an eight-man rotation tonight. Jimmer Fredette and J.J. Hickson have yet to play tonight.

HALFTIME
Heat 57, Kings 53

MIAMI - The Heat closed the second quarter on a 14-6 run after the Kings came back from a 10-3 run by the Heat to open the quarter.

The Kings already have 10 turnovers that have led to 14 points for Miami. And after shooting 50 percent in the first quarter, the Kings have slipped closer to their season average and are at 43.8 percent at the half.

Marcus Thornton has 17 points, 10 coming in the second quarter to keep the game from getting out of hand.

Dwyane Wade has 17 points for the Heat.

FIRST QUARTER
Kings 32, Heat 26

MIAMI - The game couldn't have started much better for the Kings.

Kings led 17-9 with 7:04 left in the first and withstood the first run by the Heat. Tyreke Evans banked in a long three pointer at the buzzer to end the first.

The Kings have been using a lot of zone defense and running as much as possible to try to get easy points.

Jason Thompson has 10 points and six rebounds for the Kings. Evans has nine points, four rebounds and three assists.

Four players have six points for Miami.
