CHICAGO - Jimmer Fredette felt fine until after breakfast. After breakfast the Kings rookie started feeling ill and eventually sat out Tuesday's 121-115 loss to the Chicago Bulls at United Center.
"It must have been some kind of food poisoning," Fredette said.
Fredette said after the game he was feeling better and expects to be ready for tonight's game at the New York Knicks.
Kings coach Keith Smart said that after being sick all day he thought it would be best for Fredette to rest and be ready for tonight.
Fredette is from Glen Falls, N.Y., and will have a lot of family and friends at the game. So there's extra incentive for Fredette to play.
It will be were Linsanity meets Jimmermania. I think unlike a lot of road games, there will be a lot more people rooting for the hometown player (Jeremy Lin) and not Jimmer.
