Kings guard Isaiah Thomas finished seventh in the 2011-12 Rookie of the Year voting.
Cleveland guard Kyrie Irving won with 117 of a possible 120 first-place votes.
Minnesota guard Ricky Rubio was second and Denver forward Kenneth Faried was third.
Thomas received six second-place votes and 10 third-place votes. I had Thomas third on my ballot behind Irving and Rubio.
