Smart not expecting Evans tonight, Thornton to return soon

PHOENIX - Kings coach Keith Smart didn't officially rule out Tyreke Evans (sore right knee) but did not sound optimistic that Evans would be ready to play after going through a pregame workout.

"He'll go out on the floor but we'll see," Smart said. "But pretty much (I'm sure) he'll be a scratch tonight."

*Smart said Marcus Thornton would be back with the team in time for Wednesday's game against the Golden State Warriors in Sacramento.

Thornton has missed the last three games because his mother has been ill.

*The Kings recalled second-year forward Tyler Honeycutt from the Reno Bighorns of the D-League today.
