Kings 51, Bobcats 46

CHARLOTTE - Kings coach Keith Smart stuck with some of his backups in the second quarter and it eventually paid off.

James Johnson came off the bench to add nine points and four rebounds.

*The scoring has been balanced in the manner the Kings would like. Nine different Kings have scored. Sacramento had 11 assists in the first half.

*Ben Gordon has 11 points off the bench for Charlotte.

*The Kings still haven't allowed a point off a turnover. Sacramento has six turnovers.

*Smart used 11 players in the first half. Jimmer Fredette and Travis Outlaw were the Only Kings that didn't play.

*Thomas Robinson was hit in the mouth at the end of the first quarter. After having X-rays and stitches, he will return to the game.

FIRST QUARTER

CHARLOTTE - The Kings are already five points away from matching last night's output in the first half. It helps that the opponent is Charlotte and not the Memphis Grizzlies.
