Robinson is OK after car accident; Brooks expected to play Wednesday

Thomas Robinson was fine after last night's car accident. Here he explains what happened:

On how he feels:

"I'm fine. Everything's good."

On how the car ended up over the center divide:

"It wasn't the plan. I made the turn too wide, that's all. I didn't want to keep going straight so turned the car and hit the median."

"I wasn't going that fast. It's just that I tried to make the turn too late, which is very narrow. I should have just kept trying to go straight. It was too late to make the turn but I still tried to make it."

Damage to the car:

"It's not that bad, the car's not totaled but I messed the bottom part of my bumper up. I probably busted something in the engine but I'm not sure. I'm breathing, I really don't care too much about the car."

*Robinson had a wrap on his left hand from a scratch in practice, coach Keith Smart said.

*Smart said Aaron Brooks would be worked back into the rotation after returning from having the flu. Brooks dressed for Monday's game but did not play.

"He probably could have played last night but I knew I had to shorten the rotation last night," Smart said. "I couldn't get everyone playing."

Smart said he was focused on getting Tyreke Evans and Marcus Thornton acclimated after time off and didn't want to force Brooks into the mix.

"I didn't want to have too many players in the game that were still dealing with issues of trying to get their game going again," Smart said.
