The Morning After: DeMarcus Cousins leaves the 'respect area' vs. Nuggets?

In breaking news, DeMarcus Cousins talks trash during games.

Here's what Denver Nuggets forward Danilo Gallinari told reporters after the game:

"When you talk trash its fine as long as you don't disrespect and that's what I approached him. I never approach nobody who trash talks to me. I like that and loved it. But it has to be in the respect area and you go out of the respect area that doesn't work with me."

Couple that with Cousins having words with a Kings fan that Cousins said was "disrespectful" there was plenty to discuss about what Cousins had to say during Tuesday's loss to the Denver Nuggets.

Good news?

The Kings are averaging 110.9 points in their last 12 games.

Bad news?

The Kings are allowing 115.3 points in their last 12 games.

More on Kings South

With Aaron Brooks signing with Houston on Tuesday, the migration of former Kings to Southern Texas continued.

What was lost in that was Tyler Honeycutt, a player the Kings were very high on two years ago, was waived to make room for Brooks.

Kings coach Keith Smart said Honeycutt had made progress with his maturity, but injuries and the depth chart derailed his chances with the Kings.

• Don't use profanities, vulgarities or hate speech. This is a general interest news site. Sometimes, there are children present. Don't say anything in a way you wouldn't want your own child to hear.

• Do not attack other users; focus your comments on issues, not individuals.

• Do not copy and paste outside material into the comment box.

• Don't repeat the same comment over and over. We heard you the first time.

• Do not use the commenting system for advertising. That's spam and it isn't allowed.

• Don't use all capital letters. That's akin to yelling and not appreciated by the audience.
