The Morning After: More struggles from the starting lineup

OKLAHOMA CITY - The Kings final road trip of the season isn't one the starting five will want to remember.

*Tyreke Evans was the only starter to shoot at least 40 percent on the trip (45.8 percent).

*It's no surprise considering the Kings lost all three games on the trip, but no starter had a positive plus/minus rating in the three games. All the players that were a plus were reserves.

*Monday night against the Oklahoma City Thunder, it was the starting frontcourt that couldn't figure things out for the Kings.

John Salmons, Jason Thompson and DeMarcus Cousins combined to shoot 6 of 25 in the Kings 104-95 loss to the Thunder Monday night.

Isaiah Thomas and Tyreke Evans (who played 10 minutes before leaving the game with a strained left quad) combined to shoot 9 of 15.

*Thomas was the only starter to score in double figures with 16 points. Evans (eight points) was on his way before he strained his left quad in the first quarter.

*To find some consistency in the last couple of games you have to turn to the bench. Cole Aldrich is playing like man trying to earn his next contract. He's averaged 12 points and 12.5 rebounds in his last two games.

*Travis Outlaw had 15 points for a second game in a row.

*The Kings had 15 turnovers. Cousins and Thomas each had five.
