LAS VEGAS - Ben McLemore put on the kind of shooting performance the Kings expect from him in an 81-70 summer league loss to Toronto.
McLemore missed three of his first four shots but scored 22 second-half points to finish with 26.
McLemore made 7-of-10 shots in the second half to finish 8-for-14 for the game. McLemore attempted six three pointers, making three.
McLemore shot 8-for 35 in his first two summer league games.
"I kept shooting the ball and I was more aggressive the second half," McLemore said. "Started driving the lane, getting toe the foul line, just playing my game, just letting it come to me and tonight it did."
The Kings, however, dropped to 0-3 in summer league play with the loss. Their next opponent will be determined tonight after all games are finished in pool play.
"We worked way too hard with our two-a-days and with our preparation to accept losing," said summer league coach Chris Jent. "I don't care what you're doing, losing, you can never accept that. And you have to prepare yourself that next time you step on the basketball court, to win a basketball game."
