LAS VEGAS - Kings general manager Pete D'Alessandro returned from watching free agent center Greg Oden workout last night in Indianapolis in time to catch the final Team USA minicamp practice and watch center DeMarcus Cousins.
D'Alessandro said the relationship between Cousins and management has been good.
"We've had a great line of communication," D'Alessandro said. "I know he's been working hard and you can see that on the floor as he's out there today. I feel real positive about it, really positive."
D'Alessandro did not comment on the workout but said the work to improve the Kings is not done.
"We're doing everything we can to make this team better, we really are," D'Alessandro said. "We're not going to leave any stone left unturned."
Oden, the first overall pick of the 2007 NBA Draft, has played in only 82 games in his career due to numerous injuries. He sat out last season while recovering from knee surgery.
