LAS VEGAS - The Kings will have representatives in Indianapolis to watch a workout with free agent center Greg Oden on Tuesday.
New Orleans will reportedly also attend the workout.
Oden, the first overall pick in the 2007 NBA Draft has played in just 82 games in his career due to injuries.
The Kings, however, remain in the market for another center, preferably one with defensive tendencies. Oden, when healthy, would be that type of player and would provide a nice complement to DeMarcus Cousins.
The Kings met with Oden last week during NBA Summer League, too.
The Kings already have 14 players with guaranteed contracts, one below the maximum roster count.
Kings general manager Pete D'Alessandro would prefer to keep that roster spot open headed into the regular season but would not be opposed to adding another player if he fills a need.
