Pregame notes: Cousins is in, Bledsoe out tonight

PHOENIX - DeMarcus Cousins (shoulder) is in the starting lineup tonight.

Cousins has had shoulder problems in the past with the shoulder coming out of socket during games, as it did last night.

Cousins had no issues with his shoulder last season.

"I think it is something we have to monitor," said Kings coach Michael Malone. "He has to continue to work to strengthen it and maybe prohibit it from happening again. I think he is a little sore, but he is definitely going to go tonight."

*Malone said Jimmer Fredette would stay in the rotation ahead of Marcus Thornton tonight.

*Suns guard Eric Bledsoe (bruised left shin) is not in the starting lineup again tonight.

But the Kings learned Tuesday night that doesn't guarantee them anything as Gerald Green scored 23 points in place of Bledsoe.

Prediction time: Cousins should dominate the Suns' big men again and the Kings should be able to dominant the rebounding battle.

If the Kings take care of the ball and Cousins is on, the Kings should be able to pull off a sweep in this back-to-back series and notch their first road win of the season.

It also helps that Phoenix is without Bledsoe again.

Kings 108, Suns 104
My record: 7-3
