The Bee and its media friends want to discuss online news pay walls and the topic of our next health forum with you.

On June 22, The Bee and Sacramento Press will be co-hosting a panel discussion on online pay walls from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at The Bee, 2100 Q St. The event is open to the public and audience members will be encouraged to ask questions and provide feedback. Seating is limited and must be reserved in advance by emailing workshops@sacramentopress.com.

The panelists are Tim Foster, editor of Midtown Monthly; Mike O'Brien, co-publisher and owner of Sacramento Magazine; Geoff Samek, co-founder of Sacramento Press; Michael Sanford, vice president for content creation at KVIE; Ron Trujillo, editor of the Sacramento Business Journal; and Tom Negrete, managing editor for production and online at The Bee.

JT Long, a local independent journalist, will moderate the discussion.
