Our vendor for online comments, Disqus, has identified a bug that results in logged-in readers being unable to comment. Specifically, when a reader attempts to place her cursor in the comment box, the traditional prompt to post is not displaying and the reader cannot type in the comment box.
Disqus is working to address this issue and we hope to have this fixed as soon as possible. In the meantime, readers that encounter this problem can fix it by placing their cursor in the comment box and then refreshing the page.
