State Employees with CA Dept of General Services

Hold Holiday Food-Drive at Ziggurat Building, West Sacramento

 

State employees with the California Department of General Services (DGS) are once again opening up their hearts and wallets during the holiday season to help those less fortunate.

 

On Wednesday, December 15, from 7:30 a.m. until 8:45 a.m., DGS employees will be stationed in front of West Sacramento’s Ziggurat Building to accept food donations for Food-Link, which distributes the food to more than 80 Sacramento programs. Participants will not even need to leave their cars as DGS employees will accept donations in a makeshift drive-through set-up on the west side main entrance of the Zig.

 

 

What:              2010 HOLIDAY DGS FOOD DRIVE AT THE ZIGGURAT

When:             Wednesday, Dec. 15, 7:30 a.m. to 8:45 a.m.

Where:            DGS headquarters, 707 Third St., West Sacramento

Who:               DGS employees will collect nonperishable food items at a makeshift drive-through. Santa and a few of his elves are expected as well.
