A bill aimed at increasing state government contract transparency, AB 756, is moving to the Senate floor after the Senate Committee on Appropriations approved the measure on Monday. The measure, according to this Senate analysis, "would require a state agency to provide a link to a centrally located and accessible state Internet Web site that includes a list of the personal services and consulting services entered into by the agency."
