Car crash shuts down Roseville DMV

Department of Motor Vehicles employees normally stationed at the Roseville office are working the rest of this week at the Carmichael, Folsom or Rocklin locations.

A student driver crashed his car into the Roseville office Monday night, leaving a four-by-five-foot hole in the building. The office closed down yesterday so that construction crews can repair the damage.

The DMV said in a release that customers who planned to take a driving test in Roseville this week should still report there. Everyone else should head to the other locations.
