State worker union announces scientists contest winner

Thumbnail image for 110913 CAPS logo large.JPGThe California Association of Professional Scientists awarded Mira Loma High School senior Ashish Nag its Outstanding Young Scientist Award. Nag was was given the $1,000 award at Thursday's CAPS luncheon in Sacramento.

Runner-up contestants Meredith Lehmann, a senior at La Jolla High School in La Jolla and Apoorva Dharmadhikari, a senior at Evergreen Valley High School in San Jose each received a $500 cash award.
