Raw videos show chaos as driver plows into Venice Beach boardwalk crowd

Security camera footage caught beachgoers scrambling across the Venice Beach boardwalk on Saturday in an attempt to get away from a speeding car that killed one person and injured 11.

This security video shows a young man parking a car next to the Venice Beach boardwalk. After walking around for several minutes, he gets back in and the car accelerates across a sidewalk, running down vendors and other people before fleeing.

Police photos show accused marathon bomber just before his capture

A Boston police photographer, incensed by Rolling Stone magazine's publication of its latest edition featuring a large picture of accused Boston marathon bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, has provided photographs of the suspect just before his arrest. They are intense images, far from what Rolling Stone critics consider a glamorous representation of Tsarnaev. The photos appear in Boston Magazine.

Wife caught on video offering $50,000 to murder her husband

Julia Merfeld offers a hitman (actually an undercover Michigan police officer) $50,000 to kill her husband because, she says, it's easier than a divorce. The whole thing is on tape in this video from Time.

Time reports that Merfled pled guilty to solicitation of murder in June and is set to be sentenced on July 30, with a minimum of six years, according to WOOD TV 8 in Michigan.

Shop owner uses bat to fight off robber who is shooting at him

A Chicago shop owner used a bat to fight off a gunman who tried to rob his store. The thief shot at the shop owner nine times. The shop owner owner was only hit once. It was all caught on surveillance tape.

It's hard to catch a naked person. Seattle police have arrested a man accused of knocking a young brother and sister to the ground at a park, then stripping off his clothes and jumping naked into a nearby lake where he eluded police boats and divers for more than two hours. Here's the raw video:
